My Dream
I would like to travel around the world with a loved one and watch as many sunsets as i can. It would be best if the weather is good and it comes with magnificent sceneries and the sounds of nature. Sometimes, i gotta admit that the sound of nature is euphoric. I want to stay in a hotel room on the top floor with a full window view of a busking city so that when i look out of the window at night, i see the beautiful lights under the dark quiet sky. I want to visit Chicago, Cassablanca and Massachusetts. I heard the western countryside is nice. Its simple but beautiful. Quiet but filled with laughter of the people who are contented with what they have over there. I want to experience a farm stay. Wake up to the sounds of the farm animals. Bathe horses and milk cows. I want to see real cowboys and join them for their campfire gathering sessions. As well as sing along to the good old folk songs that they play with their guitars and banjos. One day, eventually, i believe i will find a guy who will bring me to all these places, experience the life that i've mentioned and maybe more, as well as spend the rest of his life with me till we both turn old and grey. Until then, we will still stroll on the beach hand in hand, as we watch the sun submerge into the vast seas once again.
-Heather :)

Why is it that everyone is encouraging me, even pple i do not know. But you guys, are so against it and show no support?? :(

When love is right in front of you, treasure it. You won't want to lose it and regret it later in life. Listen to this song.

Don't Cry,Joni

Woman- Jimmy please say you'll wait for me
I'll grow up someday you'll see
Saving all my kisses just for you
Signed with love forever true.

Man - Joni was the girl who lived next door
I've known her I guess ten years or more.
Joni wrote me a note one day.
And this is what she had to say.

Woman-Jimmy please say you'll wait for me
I'll grow up someday you'll see
Saving all my kisses just for you
Signed with love forever true.

Man- Slowly I read her note once more
Then I went over to the house next door
Her tear-drops fell like rain that day
When I told Joni what I had to say.

Man- Joni, Joni please don't cry
You'll forget me by and by
You're just fifteen and I'm twenty two,
and Joni I just cant wait for you.

Man - Soon I left our little home town,
Got me a job and tried to settle down
But these words kept haunting my memory,
the words that Joni said to me.

Woman- Jimmy please say you'll wait for me
I'll grow up some day you'll see
Saving all my kisses just for you
Signed with love forever true.

Man - I packed my clothes and I caught a plane
and I had to see Joni. I had to explain,
how my heart was filled with her memory
and ask my Joni if she'd marry me

I ran all the way to the house next door
but things weren't like they were before
My tear-drops fell like rain that day
When I heard what Joni had to say.

Woman- Jimmy, Jimmy please don't cry
You'll forget me by and by.
It's been five years since you've been gone
Jimmy, I - (married) - your best friend John.

Remember what you said

Hi~! Its been quite some time since i last blogged. So i shall update everything that happened recently, now. :D

Friday(16th april)
Went for tina's birthday chalet, and it was fun!
Met up with jenson, andy and isaac at hougang mall to get a present. On the way, it was really funny, jenson's words and actions made me laugh alot.
Then waited for tiffany at the interchange, and we bused to aranda. I borrowed jenson's itouch and i didnt want to return it to him. He kept asking for it, and i said i'l put in under my shirt if he comes closer. HAHA! :D
Reached, ate bbq food, and omg jenson and andy was really darn funny. I kept on laughing and laughing and laughing non stop! LOL.
Tina was so elated to see us that she hugged us the moment we appeared at her chalet doorstep.
Then after the bbq, we walked around while waiting for edmund, yuxiang and jasper to come. They came at 11 plus.
Had nothing to do after gambling a little with cards (jasper was on a winning streak!), so just slacked around in the hall. THEN THEN THEN, tina's guy friends went to catch live cockroaches and frogs to scare pple! Omg when they came near me with the creatures i screamed and i grabbed jenson and hid behind him. Ok, imagine that, funny isn't it? :D
Slacked till 4am, then cabbed home. Was freaking tired.

Saturday(17 april)
S.H.E's concert with Eve! :D It was awesome, the songs were nice, and the sound system was really great. So great that my ear drums felt like they were going to burst anytime! But yeah, its worth it. S.H.E's vocals are really stylo, especially hebe. when she reached the high notes, everyone cheered cheered for her!
She's concert was in indoor stadium, mayday's concert was in outdoor stadium. They started at the same time. LOL
Like competing each other. But mayday's concert was grander and more people attended i heard? There were even fireworks!
Luckily they didnt end at the same time if not the mrt platform will collapse. Because that would mean more than 22000 people squeezing with each other.
But heng heng, eve's husband came to fetch us back, so we didnt need to squeeze :D

Today, first day of school. Ok i have no comments yet cos its still too early to say anything. I'll just say that.....im tired. So, ya, bye. Im going off :D

Lets take a chance, shall we?

I love my dog, so very much (:

Orientation is over, it was fun, and now everyone knows everyone :)
Yesterday was flag day, also my birthday. See? I'm doing a kind deed on my birthday :D
School's officially starting on Monday, and i'm scared. Scared that i'll fall behind, scared that i won't be able to keep up.

I saw Gwee Jiayi just now! When we saw each other we gave each other the shocked face with the opened mouth look. And we almost hugged each other, but there were too many people around. Cos its been a really long time since we caught up with each other. We were once very very close, childhood playmates. We've known each other for 11 years, and still keeping in contact. :D

Im going for S.H.E's concert tmr! Omg i can't wait. Thank you eve! :DD
Ok, gotta go now, meeting up with the guys later for tina's bbq chalet. Bye~! :D

P/S: Thank you all for wishing me a happy birthday yesterday. I really appreciate it (:
For 2 years straight, the first person and the last person to wish me, happened to be the 2 same people. LOL :D

Now i know, you're not worth my time at all. Everyone wished me yesterday, including friends that i've not seen for a long time, and friends that i've just known and i dont even remember telling them my birthdate. You? You were yakking away to me about this and that, but you've totally forgotten the date. Yes this may seem very trivial, and you may think that i'm some petty woman who takes note of these small little things. But sometimes, its these trivial and lil things that really count. So i guess i'll know how to treat you from now on.
Monday, April 12, 2010 @ 11:35 PM

I LIKE YOU
Are these 3 words so difficult to comprehend or understand?
I'm already so blunt, don't you get it?

I still believe that what you say is true.
If only i can make you feel it too...
@ 10:22 PM

I really don't know whether to cry or to laugh.

SP freshmen orientation today. Met Eunice in the morning and we made our way there together. We happened to be in the same school you see? :)
Was abit nervous, because apparently i don't know anyone at all. But the whole thing didn't turn out as bad as i thought it would be. On the contrary, it was quite good. Watched performances, met my funny tutor, and made new friends :D
Another programme on Wed, bonding session.

And and, i just updated the europe blog! I just miss the times in europe. I love the weather and the scenery there!:D
Oh ya, and i read through the archives of our blog, and i saw my reflection post. It sure brought back numerous memories. Memories that i'll never forget, at least not in this lifetime.
I shall show you what i posted more then a year ago, at the end of this post. :)

CIAO people! I'm currently suffering from jetlag! And it feels terrible. Well, actually im not the only one. Ravetha and Ain have the same problem too! We are awake when others are sleeping and we are sleeping when others are wide awake. This is so hilarious. And i heard that many of the others are sick. Do take care alright :D

Ok, i think its high time i start on my reflection.
Altogether, we have toured 4 countries. Mainly Qatar,Germany,Austria and Italy. The Cities that we visited were Doha,Munich,Salzburg,Venice and Rome.
Firstly on Doha,
I have learnt and realised a lot of things from the city tour in Doha. Doha is actually a city built in the middle of a desert. This is so amazing! And Doha only has a population of 1 million people. One interesting fact that i have learnt is that men in Doha are only allowed to marry up to a maximum of 4 wives. If they marry a fifth one, they would be sent to prison.
First,we visited the camel farm and the tour guide there told us that camels were sold and bought for their meat and milk. We also visited the Equestrian Club, which was something like Singapore's turf club. All the horses there were racing horses and they go through physical training almost everyday. We got the chance to see one of the horses swimming in a pool. This exercise was to build up the horses' stamina and muscles. The horse was panting heavily and i really pitied it because it didn't seem to be swimming on its own accord. It was like being forced to do it. Next up was the falcon market. Falcons were sold and bought and over there in Doha, keeping falcons is like a form of expensive leisure which only the rich could afford. When we went into the shop to look at the falcons,we saw that they were being chained up and their eyes were covered. This is to keep the falcons from escaping and their eyes were covered so that they would not be agitated or scared when they see so many tourists.
Next up is Germany. During our stay in Germany, we visited the swan castle,Dachau memorial camp and had our school exchange. At the swan castle(Hohenschwangau castle), we learnt about King Ludwig II and that he was the last king who ruled Germany. His officials insisted that he was mentally illed and thus fed him with medicine. He was found dead in the swan lake with his doctor one day and his death is still a mystery up till today. The next place that we visited was the Dachau Memorial Camp. Visiting this campsite was really an unforgettable experience. This camp was the first concentration camp. It was like travelling back in time and we found out how Hitler mistreated or tortured the Jews and other Germans during the concentration camp. The prisoners were forced to do labour work and they were given only very little food to survive with. Millions of people lost their lives and dignity in this camp. Those who survived this camp were really very lucky.
We had the school exchange the next day and it was fun.The name of the school is Gymnasium Bad Aibling.A Gymnasium is a type of school people study in if they want to go to University. We were introduced to German education and their way of life in school.
After the exchange program,we headed to the Marienplatz. We were given 6 euros each and 4 hours of free time to explore the place on our own. And we had to get our own lunch with the money given. We also learnt about the new and old town hall, the column of the holy mary and the fish fountain. The fish fountain is used once every year during the new year. People would wash their purses and wallets in the fountain to start the good year with more wealth.
Next up was the Durnberg Salt Mine. We learnt how salt was produced in the past and how Salzburg developed as a country after the discovery of salt.
The next day, we took a water taxi to Venice. Venice is an island and there are no cars or vehicles over there.People and tourists who want to leave or enter Venice would have to take the Gondolas or water taxis.Venice is also a tourist attraction. However, due to global warming,Venice is going to sink and disappear in another few years. This is sad! because Venice is really a very beautiful place. So people!Start saving the earth! Reduce,Reuse and Recycle!
The last two places that we visited were The Vatican City and the city of Pompeii. In the Vatican City, we visited the Saint Peter's Basalical and the Sistine Chapel. through the tour in the Vatican city, i have learnt a lot about the Roman catholic culture. I think that this is something new to me as i am a budhist and i don't learn about Catholism often. We also visited the Colosseum where gladiators fought in the past. Prisoners were also forced to fight against each other or with wild animals like lions and tigers.Winners could walk out as free men and losers had to die. This served as a form of entertainment to the locals and tourists there. In my opinion, this is really a very cruel act. People were actually enjoying themselves at the expense of the prisoners' lives. They sold their souls for entertainment.
Our last stop-the city of Pompeii. We toured the city which was once destroyed by the disastrous volcano eruption of mount Versuvius. Many Pompeiians died because they were living near volcanos. They didn'e know that it was a volcano. They thought that it was only a mountain with extremely fertile soil. Thus, they were not prepared at all when the volcano erupted.
We also had the opportunity to climb Mount Versuvius! It was a tiring but fun and exciting climb.

Overall,i have learnt alot of things like time management. Time management is really important as we counldn't be late for any of the activities.i have also become a more independent person. Without my family with me for the 10 days, i have learnt to take care of myself and get everything done by myself. I also realised that there are some things that we can only rely on ourselves to get it completed. I have also experienced the importance of friendship.During the trip,i had motion sickness and i am really thankful to those who have helped me. Like Kahmin and ain, they knew that i wasn't feeling well and they helped me to carry my luggage and somehow took care of me. Rachel and May too. They offered their medicine to me and Ravetha and helped whenever they could. Thanks people. I really appreciate your help :D I am also happy that i have made new friends.
Lastly, i wanna thank the teachers for organising this Europe trip.Especially Mdm Eunice Koh,Miss Sazryna and Mr Gavin Lee. Without them,i wouldn't have the chance to visit such a nice country like Europe and learn so much more which i can't get from textbooks. Also! i have learnt quite alot on geography although i am a literature student.I feel really previleged to be able to go on thid trip.Thank you teachers, for entertaining us too. I would also like to thank the other 15 students who went for the trip. Without them, the trip would not be as exciting and fun. We enjoyed each other's company and we helped each other in times of need. During the 10 days,we went through thick and thin together. And not forgetting Mr Dan,our tour guide and Mr Jani, our bus driver.Without them, our trip would not be complete.
Love, Heather.

I LOVE MY CLIQUE :)

There's only one word to describe yesterday-AWESOME :D
Clique threw an early surprise birthday for me at the beach!
Ok, this was how it went.
Tiffany smsed me in the afternoon to meet up, so i went to get prepared and bus-ed to downtown. Met her on the bus, then we alighted at downtown east that bustop. Didn't know how to get to pasir ris park, but luckily, we made it there successfully, though we were cursing and swearing about the weather on the way.
Tiffany told me SHE WAS MEETING HER FRIEND. And she kept calling her friend to ask her where was the bbq pit they were meeting at. Actually she was talking to ANDY.
Walked around for almost 20 minutes under the freaking hot sun, my face was practically melting. But we still couldnt find the place.
It was at the super far end of the beach.
Then Tiffany made me look at the sky, observe a man fishing, and pick up seashells, and all sorts of funny things. Actuakly she was trying to distract me. Then when i was squatting down to pick up the seashells, i suddenly heard one group of pple behind me shout my name, then when i turned around, i saw jason holding a cake and they sang me a birthday song! Woah, i was happy, too happy until i don't know what to say. I just smiled like an idiot.
Then, twin made me bite the candles out of the cake. I was like..NO?!
But in the end i did, and guess what? My phone was hanged around my neck and when i bent down to bite the candles, my phone smashed into the cake! Omg my phone became a strawberry flavoured phone.
The cake was damn big, we couldnt finish. But i finished all the fruits cos they were NICE :) so we played games and whoever losed had to finish up the cake. And guess what again? Andy lost, HAHA :D
I gave Jason the biggest piece of cake. Hey, guys need more energy right? LOL :D After the cake, we wanted to play water bombs, but we ended up renting bicycles. Wei ping left early so she didn't go cycling with us. Twin doesn't know how to cycle, so we rented two 2 in 1 bikes. I tried cycling her, but she was too scared and she doenst know how to balance and so we took a freaking long time to stabilise ourselves. We nearly cycled into a bush you know? Ya laugh all you want, but we did have a great time, though it was exhausting. Andy and jason cycled together so effortlessly. Twin and i were screaming here and there. -.-
At about 7, we accompanied Jason to take the bus home. Took photos at the bustop, i'll be uploading them later on. :)
After he left, Andy, tiffany and i went to Just acias for dinner and chit chatted a lot.
Then we cabbed to tampinese 1 to find Tiff's mum. She so cute! Made us laugh. Ok la twin i know she threw your face around, but take note, we're laughing with you, not at you. :)
Still didn't want to go home, so we slacked at MAC's till around 1.30am. We talked and laughed like nobody's business. Gosh, really miss our primary school days. We all agree that Primary school days were the best, and we all wanted to turn back the clock.

Here are the pictures:

Actually there were more photos, but twin accidentally deleted them from her camera! :(
In all, i had a really great day. Thank you all for arranging this for me and forking out the time. I really appreciate it and i'm really happy. Thanks so much :)

Twin, i'm dedicating this song to you. I couldn't find the mp3 version to upload, i can only find bits and pieces of this song on youtube, but not the full version. So i decided to sing it myself and post it here, just for you :)
I wanna say, life has been great with you in my life. We've know each other for 6 years, and i'm still counting. Thanks for always being there for me, listening to me, and helping me to find solutions for my problems.
This holiday brought us really close together.
I enjoy the times when we can talk endlessly about all kinds of stuffs, sharing our secrets with each other, things that we have promised each other not to leak out.
as for the genting trip, i wanted to tell you, although we didn't really do much there, i was still happy :)
I'm not sure how long our friendship can last, but i hope it won't end.
I'm starting school real soon, it means i won't have as much time as i have like now. I'll be real busy with school work. I really hope we won't drift apart. We're twins for life, right? I love you :)

Here's the song:

I know you'll say you don't understand. So, as a very considerate and caring twin, i'll traslate it for you :)

宁静的天空像美丽的图画.
The quiet sky resembles a beautiful painting.
我睁大眼睛去寻找,寻找一颗心.
I open my eyes to find, to find a star.
动人的旋律,无界限的空间.
The moving melody, and a space without boundaries.
宇宙中最亮的,就是那颗守护星.
The brightest star in this universe, its that guarding star.
有一天你对我说,童话的梦会成真.
One day you said to me, fairytale dreams do come true.
请不要再犹豫,这个天空属于你.
Hesitate no more, this sky belongs to you.
明天曙光依旧会来.
The sun will rise again tomorrow.
有一天我对你说,你是我的守护星.
One day i say to you, you are my guarding star/i'm your guarding star.
未来的日子不必害怕,你将真心给我,
In days to come, don't be afraid, place your heart with me.
我会用心来回应你
And I too, will use my heart to respond to you :)

THIS IS GONNA BE A VERY RANDOM POST.

Alright, since i've got nothing to do now, i shall do a very random post.
The night air is so cooling and soothing now, which sets one into thinking about many things that happen in life.
I'll be shifting house soon. How soon i do not know, but i hope i won't be shifting to somewhere ulu and far from school.
Also, i hope i won't be staying on the 2nd storey again. But hey, its not really a bad thing staying on the 2nd storey y'know? If you're staying on the 20th story, yes no doubt you get a better and bigger view of Singapore's green scenery around your flat, but, think of it this way. Imagine you just came home from work, and all you're looking forward to is your comfortable bed. But when you reach the lift that sends you all the way up to your beautiful home, all you see is a sign that reads "Lift under maintenance, sorry for the inconvenience caused" pasted on the lift door. What will ya do? Cry out loud? You will have no choice but to climb up more than 20 flights of stairs. There you go, yeah it will be a great form of exercise, toning up your calf muscles but hey, tell me which ding dong will enjoy climbing up the stairs when you're already physically drained at the end of the day.
And oh yes, when it comes to earth quakes, i guess i won't have to elaborate?
But, imagine if its a tsunami. Then... it would be a different story.

I digressed, back to main point. So i guess i'll be happy with living somewhere in the middle of a building? :D
There's a reason why im shifting house. If you wanna know, come and ask me personally, DO NOT ASSUME, and then i'll decide whether or not to tell you the reason.

I feel like doing something interesting. But it seems like Singapore has nothing interesting. Its like, where can you go and what can you do?
I came across something which depicts the stages of life. And i think it goes like this : When you're young, you have the time and the energy, but you dont have the money. When you're an adult, you have the money and the energy, but you don;t have the time. When you're old, you have the money and time, but you wont have the energy anymore.
So then, how should we be living our lives?

Sometimes i wonder how my life would be like if Mummy had chose to give birth to me there instead of here.

只怕我自己会爱上你
不敢让自己靠的太近
怕我没什么能够给你
爱你也需要很大的勇气

只怕我自己会爱上你
也许有天会情不自禁
想念只让自己苦了自己
爱上你是我情非得已

I just love everything about you.

Hello world, today hadn't been a fruitful day. I was just out with Twin at Hougang mall. Spending time there doing up my blogskin and chit chatting. Yes, if you've not realised, i changed my blogskin. Credits to Twin (:
After some time Siona and Meiman joined us.

You always think you're right when in fact, you're not. Its just that i don't bother correcting or arguing with you anymore.
If you think you're smart, stress your brain cells and think again.
What makes you think you're so good that you can criticise people?
Having one or two individuals praising you doesn't send you standing at the top of the world. You're just another typical personel from the streets of Singapore.

When tomorrow arrives, today will become yesterday.

Its a really nice piece of music which soothes one's mind (:

My life's changing alot. In the next 3 months, many things in my life will be changing. Not only school, but also personal life.
I just hope i'll be able to adapt quickly.

Omg, get a life. Do you know you're driving people up the wall half the time? No, its most of the time. You can't expect everyone to give in to you all the time. you know whats the meaning of give and take? You're always taking. I think its high time you start giving.

Sometimes, in order to acheive, you have to sacrifice something.
Is it worth it?

Thursday
Went to Xin qi's house with eileen for steamboat and movies. Had a great time eating, watching and crapping! The food's so nice, makes me feel like eating steamboat again right now.
I like xin qi's house! Many many wonders, too many to explore. LOL.
She can do a lot of wonders with the things she has in her living room.
Great day out :)

Went to City Harvest Church's service to watch the easter drama on friday. It was really an experience to remember! I saw so many people i know, and i saw yi lin!!
She was just sitting right in front of me, and i was trying very hard to confirm if it was her. When she stood up and turned back, we saw each other and we were both shocked. We started OMG-ing. LOL.
Thanks Pris for inviting me! It so happened that my bro's friend knows her and she knows me and im the sister of my bro. So we're all linked! (:
Went to the IT show with Tiffany and Xin Qi after the service, nothing much, so we left. Tiffany wanted to go to chomp chomp for dinner. And it was like...omg, freaking far from expo! Xin Qi left first, cos she wanted to go home. So Tiffany and i made our long way to chomp chomp. Contemplated to take a cab, but since it was a public holiday, there were extra charges, so we decided to take the train instead.
Food at chomp chomp is great! We were starving when we reached, so we couldn't wait for our food to come. LOL.
well, it was definately a day out to remember! :D

I've decided, for real.
Because you're just not worth my time.
