Happy new year! :)


I've not been online for quite some time, or maybe i've been, but not blogging. Well, this is gonna be the first post of the year. :D
|The past three weeks had been a very fruitful and fun one. Working had been another great experience. Thanks to Ah Choo who thought me things, though sometimes she can be quite naggy and i actually raised my voice at her on the second day cos i couldn't stand it. Working with Rachel was really good, she has the ability to keep a smile on my face and she also guided me along the way. And Auntie Rose too! Thanks people :)

Besides work, life had been fun and great too! movie'ing kbox-ing with friends almost every week. In all, i think that my life doesn't feel as empty as before?
Last monday went out with Andy, Tiffany and June. Kboxed with Andy first, then met tiffany and june at hougang mall's LJS. Discussed where to go for movie, and what movie to watch. In between we had fun chats :D
At last decided to head to PS to watch Avatar in 3D.
THIS MOVIE,i won't say its lousy, but neither is it fantastic. It took me a freaking long time to figure out whats going on, and i almost fell asleep halfway through the movie. Andy and June felt that the movie was great, but not me and tiffany. We were lamenting about it through the movie. LOL.
Then headed back to hougang mall, june went home first, andy, tiffany and i decided to slack at MAC. Ate and chatted till the people there chased us out in an indirect manner. The woman told us, "sorry, we're closed" So she meant to say, "sorry, we're closed, so you better get out now cos i wanna go home early". Haha..
So shifted to the tables and chairs outside pasta mania with our food, and continued talking about lots and lots of stuff. :D
Andy even discussed about what he wants to name his children in the future. LOL
Then decided to call more people out to ton. But apparently none was available. Called Kelvin first, but he was at home, and he stays freaking far away from Hougang. Then tried Kellie, but she was out with friends. Then called Jason, but he couldn't come out. In the end Tiff managed to get one of her friends, Jovian. Slacked, walked, talked till about 2.30AM then they sent me home.
In all, it was a really fun day. Thanks guys :D

And dad can sing really well. I even recorded it! :D

NEW YEAR EVE
Had party at home, then gambled. Dad taught us how to play open poker, otherwise known as show hand. Its a game which requires lots of guts. The best thing is, i won more than $30! :D

Time for reflection!

For the past one year, i had been through many things, and seen many kinds of people. Studies had been quite well, i should say. Except for Maths, but i managed to overcome it duely. This year, Mr Teoh had scolded me many times, although i'm angry, i know he meant me well. And i will always remember his teachings.
As for the rest of the subjects, i can say that i managed them well enough to survive sec 4. There were times when i needed help in certain topics or a particular subject, and i'm very glad and i feel very lucky to have known this friend, who will take time off to coach me, to explain sums to me over and over again when i failed to understand. He has been very patient, he has never once flared at me while teaching me. He has also been a very good companion. I feel really grateful towards him. He will never be out of my memory, even if i were to be out of his.

I also feel thankful to have known friends like Eve, Wendy and Rachel, who not only brought fun to my life, but also guided me along and helped me in my times of need. They never did look down on me like the others, who thinks im young so im ignorant. They taught me life lessons, and shared their stories of the road with me.
I promise, if i ever make it big in life, they will have a share of what i have too.

As for my family, i guess i won't have to spell it out in words. They will always be the best people in my life, including my dog. Unwavering support and undying love.
Home is still the best. I thank god for giving me such a happy family. :)

Lastly, 2010 is gonna be a completely brand new year. Its a new phase of my life. I have learnt to look past the imperfections of things. I realised who are the friends that i can really depend on. Not the ones that will shun and ignore you all of a sudden without a reason, and walk past you like you have never been a big part of their lives although you had. So through this ups and downs, i have slowly learnt to loosen up and let go, because there's no point in holding on when somebody who claims to your true friend just doesn't give a damn to your feelings no matter how hard you try, how confused you are. And next time when you make promises, better make sure you're gonna fulfil it, cos if you don't, everything that you have said previously will turn into bullshit. And,also,not to pour your heart out to any tom dick and harry because you're gonna regret it. But, lucky me, i've learnt how to let go. No matter how happy friends can be, when they've left, what's left will only be memories. Its a pity, that these people will never make it to your future. But come to think of it, its not a bad thing, cos you'll never know if they're ever gonna hurt you again for some unknown reason.
